The Texas Conference on Student Success is excited to announce our closing speaker for the 2024 conference: Dr. Miranda F. Walichowski.

Dr. Walichowski is the founder and principal of MiraNous Coaching and Consulting, LLC; a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, ICF; and a clinical associate professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University. She has a doctorate and master’s degree in educational psychology from Texas A&M, and a Bachelor of Science in maritime business administration from Texas A&M University at Galveston.
Dr. Walichowski has developed and taught graduate-level coursework on coaching and is part of a research team studying coaching, team effectiveness, team growth-mindset, and team creativity at Texas A&M. She currently coaches for leadership development at the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University and has facilitated leadership catalyst modules. She was selected as one of Doerr’s five coaches to pilot leadership development through coaching at the United States Military Academy West Point in Fall 2019.
Dr. Walichowski developed the MiraNous Institute for Leaders in Education (MILE). MILE has provided leadership development through group and individual coaching as part of the Accelerated Preparation of Leaders for Underserved Schools (A-Plus) grant, component 5 (Turnaround). A-Plus is a project funded by the U.S. Department of Education for $13.36 million to build educational leaders’ instructional capacity who work with diverse learners (grant PI is Dr. Beverly Irby.)
Dr. Walichowski admires and enjoys working with those who respond to the call to “sharpen and refine themselves to become instruments of greater, meaningful contribution.” She believes that everyone (individuals, groups, and teams) can benefit from development through coaching.
